Currently I work as a Consulting Software Engineer for Open Robotics. I usually work on simulation-related projects or in Gazebo itself.

Before joining Open Robotics, I was an Associate Professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. PhD and MS in Computer Science from University Rey Juan Carlos. At URJC, I worked and researched at the Robotics Lab as member of GSyC. My research interests were Robotics, multi-robot systems and sensor fusion. Also I was part of the SPL Robocup spiteam. My teaching duties were related with Robotics and several courses inside the College of Telecommunications Engineering. During 2012, I was the director of the Telematics and Computer Systems master program

During 2010 and 2011 I visited Learning Agents Research Group (LARG) within the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin and CORAL research group within the Computer Science department at Carnegie Mellon University. Check out the summary of my visit to CMU here.

Radio control cars and sports are my others topics of interest.
